Ethan Dunn
Ethan is the managing partner of Maxwell Dunn Law. He has successfully turned around several small businesses and assisted hundreds of individuals in fixing their personal financial challenges, both in and out of bankruptcy. In addition to his bankruptcy and turnaround practice, Ethan guides entrepreneurs through the purchase, sale, and merger of businesses and advises small-business owners. He is known for finding creative solutions and helping clients resolve internal and external roadblocks so they can achieve the best possible financial outcome. Ethan serves as co-chair of the Federal Bar Association Bankruptcy Practice Group and as an advisor to the U.S. Small Business Administration Emerging Leaders program, and he sat on the committee commissioned to re-write the local bankruptcy rules for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Kim Clayson
Kim leads the firm's Business Advisory Practice. She works with owners to set a monthly legal budget that fits the business and positions it for growth — delivering the advisory services clients need and request within that budget, with no surprises, so they can plan and invest where it matters most.

Brenda J. Maxwell
Brenda has practiced law for more than 30 years and is licensed in Michigan and Washington D.C. Her practice areas include probate and estate planning, business and corporate law, and mediation. Her career began as house counsel in the banking industry, followed by litigation at the Defender's Office, private practice, and service as Chief Counsel in Wayne County's Mental Health Division. She has represented churches, non-profits, and for-profit companies across many industries, served as a past commissioner with the American Bar Association, and was a Supreme Court appointee to the Legislative Assembly of the State Bar of Michigan. Brenda began the firm with a simple vision — professional service that puts people first — and now serves as an advisor to the firm.
